I visited Srinagar in July this year. It's a paradise on Earth for sure. Much different than most of the cities I visited, was amazed by the hospitality of the locals over there. I was accompanied by a couple of my friends. Srinagar was the staring point of our journey to Ladakh, we had limited time to explore the city which we utilized with best available options we had.

We visited Dal Lake and Srinagar market. There isn't much to say about Dal Lake, it is an iconic tourist spot in Srinagar. It has markets floating on lake, taking a boat ride through it is a must. Many movies have been shot here which our guide mentioned while taking us through the lake on a boat.
